Sightings: words fail to describe what we witnessed tonight! After last night's good activity but no visibility, we were delighted to find the same level of activity (5/9) but less cloud cover (2/8 compared to 4/8 last night). So we went out feeling rather optimistic and realised rather soon that the tour would be success when we saw a lovely arch stretching from the west to the north, ending in a sort of a knot above us. All green and all brilliant but later this show would be outbeaten by far by a dancing show involving the green and light colours and even red ones too! I have been doing these tours since September but I don't recall seeing the red colours so strong before and never dancing in the skies like this! This was well and truly the best northern lights tour that the guide writing these words has been on this season for sure! Some photos will grace our Facebook page and website in due course.
