Report from Eldey: Another incredible aurora show! Our patience and persistence fully paid off tonight. We sailed out from the Old harbour under partly cloudy skies and a little wind. The forecast was promising with the sky clearing up gradually and a high predicted northern lights activity level. However, Mother Nature was clearly testing us, as after nearly 2 hours of waiting we still weren't seeing anything besides stars and a few clouds. Suddenly, there was a green dot in the sky, only lasting for a few seconds before it disappeared. We started to get more hopeful and after just a couple of minutes a huge green arch appeared above us. Then the whole sky lit up before our eyes and we had every possible shape of green and even pink Auroras displayed in the sky, dancing wildly and lasting until the very end of the tour. An unbelievable night under northern lights!
