Report from Eldey: The evening started with some lightings (not very usual in Iceland) and light rainfall but suddenly it cleared up and we started to see some stars. Once we reached our main "northern light waiting area" everything started to happen. First, a small glimpse over Esja which suddenly expanded into a beautiful show in which a green band grow bigger, splitted, merged and vanished to return again stronger. Later on, the moon rose and it created a great visual effect among the clouds. Undoubtedly, a fantastic night.
