We are sailing out to look for Northern Lights tonight at 10 pm. The forecast predicts a moderate Aurora activity, or 2 out of 9 and a partially clouded sky. Please contact us for further information at Elding@elding.is or +354 519 5000.
Sightings: We had very good conditions tonight with a clear sky and weak winds. Already just outside the harbour a faint light could be seen towards the northwest. It continued throughout the tour with both weak lights and more intense color. Towards the end of the tour we got the most wonderful display as the sky was gloving in green and pink lights. I think we all left the boat with happy memories and hopefully some good pictures of the northern light display. Nature is wonderful!
