Report from Eldey: Beautifully clear night in Reykjavik this evening with many stars filling the nights sky. Once we had left the harbour, before our safety speech was completely finished the northern beamed across the left side of our vessel covering most of the sky. It danced, changed shape and flashed with pink. It remained visible for over one and a half hours, coming in waves of activity, but was an ever present sight above Esja, until 30 mins before leaving for the city once again. A great night of stargazing and aurora watching.
