Report from Eldey: The weather was extreme before departure with several centimetres of snow falling, giving the real vibe of a winters tour in Iceland. The white blanket was soon out of sight as we sailed in search of northern lights. Unfortunately with snow of course were clouds, that were not forecasted on any weather reports. On our journey out, the snowfall ceased and clouds dissipated. A clear view of the nights sky provided very dim northern lights and the most glorious moon rise. However, the lights were very faint and complimentary tickets were awarded.
