Report from Eldey: We were sailing out under a clear sky with only little wind and the moon shining brightly upon us. And we really only had to leave the harbour till we saw our first signs of Northern Lights to our left hand side. All of our passengers had just taken their seats and then it was already time to get to the top deck and observe the aurora. The lights were green in a clear line, sometimes even dancing with hints of pink in the lower part. We could follow them for about 40 minutes and had plenty of chances to try our luck with taking good pictures. Afterwards the clouds were coming in and the lights were not very active anymore, so we did not really see much of them for the rest of the tour. But we were happy to have had these great 40 minutes at the beginning.
