Report from Hafsulan: It was a lovely clear and crisp night on heading out, the clouds were clearing and although the activity had dropped from a 3 to a zero we were not disheartened. Just as we were rounding the island of Viðey the lights began to show, weakly at first but luckily for all of us they grew and grew, giving rise to large beams of lights all across to our western side. Sprouts of light also appeared just behind the mountain range of Esja bathing it in a beautiful green glow! The lights then stayed with us throughout the rest of the tour growing and waning and could still be seen on arrival back into to the harbour! A perfect end to a colourful tour.
