Report from Eldey: An incredible Aurora show tonight! We started the cruise under fairly cloudy skies and a little rain. The sky was clearing up little by little as the tour went on, revealing a star studded sky with the light beam of the Imagine peace tower shooting up to the skies as well. After an hour and a half, there was still no activity, no green hues visible over Mt Esja where the lights usually start. Our passengers were almost giving up hope and going inside to warm up when suddendly out of nowhere a huge arch appeared directly above us! Eventually we had four bright green arches straight above us dancing and doing different shapes, waves and swirls in the skies. We could not believe our eyes! And the lights stayed on until the very end of the cruise which made the experience everything we could have asked for. Everyone left the boat with the brightest smile on their faces: A perfectly successful Aurora hunt tonight.
