Report from Eldey & Hafsulan: Far above the clouds. Like Mike Oldfield's piece. That's how we manage to see the lights tonight! We were waiting this night with a lot of expectancy. A clear night and an amazing 6 Kp index was forecasted. But all our hopes sunk a little bit when we saw that the activity was decreasing to a number 4 and when, unfortunately, the winds changed direction and brought us a lot of low clouds. We had a little bit of activity at the very beginning but, after that, it was almost two hours of empty hands and almost despair. The waiting was worth, though. Because all of a sudden the lights started right above us, and they were so strong that we got to see them even behind the clouds. Definitely, a remarkable night for our passengers.
