Report from Eldey: We departed under a beautiful snowfall, which made the atmosphere quiet and the city lights look brighter. Of course snow is a bit of an unwanted guest in a northern light hunt, but it gave us a splendid background for sailing out. Soon enough the snow stopped, and we began to see the cloud cover getting thinner in front of us. There began the waiting game. Gradually we could see more and more stars popping up through the stars, which got our hope highs. Eventually, we got a nice gap, that spread more and more toward the end of the tour. But tonight we were short on luck, even though we got clearance in the clouds, no northern lights happened within them. Thus we handed over complimentary tickets to our passengers. Meet us tomorrow for hopefully some nice auroras and a super blue blood moon!
