Report from Eldey: There was something in the air tonight, something magical that gave us the conviction that tonight was going to be THE night for aurora borealis... (That, and an amazing forecast of 5 out of 9 on the Kp index and clear sky) And the we were not deceived! About 30 min after departure, a dancing veil of light appeared on the left of our boat. It kept getting brighter and brighter until we saw a tornado of green above us! The light were turning, spinning and swirling, and at the peak of activity a little bit of pink appeared! The show lasted long enough for everybody to have the time to take nice  pictures and as well enjoy the lights just with the eyes. After they disappeared, we lingered around a while just in case they would pick again, and when time was due we got back home. What an other-worldly show!
