Report from Eldey: With amazing conditions with clear skies and great forecast for the activity we headed out in our bay to hunt for the northern lights. The stars were amazing above us and the night was cold but calm, people were wating with patient and we were filled with hopes to have a great night. The tour went on and nothing but the beautiful stars could be seen in the sky. The tour was coming to an end and we started to go back to Reykjavik, but then all of a sudden something started to happen above mount Esja. A green light showed in my camera! We stopped the boat imediently and what we all been waiting for started to happen! Everyone went outside and the northern light were there and became stronger, greener, bigger and even moving around dancing in the skies for us! A beautiful show! This night showed us that is never to late to give up and we were all very happy that we could show our passengers the magical northern lightsin the end.
