Report from Eldey: after having to cancel the last two nights we were happy to be back out on the water again and sail past the beautiful city of Reykjavik at night all lit up. As we sailed out the low clouds parted above and a few stars could be seen. For a brief moment a passenger got a glimse of the northern lights with his camera but the clouds came in and the rain started. It was meant to clear again according to the forecast but it stayed overcast throughout the tour and no northern lights could be seen. We took a chance on a partly cloudy evening but the chance was not in our favour this evening. We offered our passengers complimentary tickets to come again in the next two years.
