Tour status: RUNNING

We are sailing out to look for Northern Lights at 10 pm tonight. The forecast predicts a 2 out of 9 Aurora activity and semi clouded skies. Please contact us for further information at elding@elding.is or +354 519 5000.

Sightings: It was a beautiful evening under the starry sky. No signs of the northern lights at the beginning but within 20-30 mintures into the tour they started to show. First a green arch to the north and then they faded to almost nothing and hen vibrant again and faded again. On the way home we had an incredible show, the whole sky was green and they started to dance and you could see purple amongst the green too. It was definitly more than a 2/9, I would say it was about 4-5/9. It was a wonderful surprise and one of the best northern lights displays of 2016. Whoo hoo!
