Sightings: The sky didn't look very promising tonight when we were sailing out of the harbour as it was almost overcast with just a few holes in the cloud cover here and there. We sailed out a bit further than we usually do on the Northern Lights Cruise to get to a less clouded area. The sky cleared up a bit more but the clouds were still hanging low above us. When we were slowly heading back to the harbour, we could see some northern lights activity. It was strong enough to make it through the clouds but of course nothing compared to Northern Lights on a clear sky. We stayed out a short while longer hoping that the sky would clear up further, but it didn't happen and the Northern Lights soon faded away.Therefore, we gave everyone onboard a complimentary ticket for another Northern Lights Cruise with us within the next two years.
