Tour Status: RUNNING

Tour at 21:00

Report from Eldey: It was very cloudy when we sailed out and with the weather being as unpredictable as it is here in Iceland, our hopes to see the northern lights are always very sensitive. This tour was just one more example of how important it is to have loads of patience when it comes to any type of nature dependant tour. Quite late into the tour we sensed a very chill breeze that came after more then one hour of no wind. The sky started to clear up and we could see some of the stars now. Things were changing for the better. I went inside for a few minutes and then our captain Otto asked me on the radio: "Lucas, are those northern lights". I ran outside and made the announcement. We were now in the presence of a beautiful green aurora in the sky in the north; the part of the sky where we usually have it appear first. It was a very nice sighting and our mood definitely improved after it. :)
