Northern Lights Cruise | 2200
Report from Hafsulan: We sailed out into Faxafloi bay hopeful of seeing some auroras tonight. The kp index was 3 which made us optimistic despite the cloud cover. The clouds were also forecasted to clear at 2300 giving us more hope of seeing some northern lights. Unfortunately we spent our whole night looking up at the clouds with few gaps appearing. We therefore gave out complimentary tickets for all our passengers to come again and hopefully see the lights. Tomorrow nights forecast looks good so hopefully we have better luck then! Everyone did still enjoy a very calm, peaceful tour. We had almost no wind and a very flat sea.
