Report from Elding: What an incredible night! The sky was clearer than we expected, lights of the stars glistened all around and winds had already calmed down. It seemt as the night was giving us good vibes, and we did not even had time to put on our overalls that as soon as we left the harbour the lights were already shining! Northern lights were starting! From there they got brighter and formed even some vertical lines on the sky, it was simply breath-taking! At some point they were getting softer but even when we returned back to the harbour we could still see them. Even though the forecast was low with a Kp-index of 2/9 we were definitely surprised by this beautiful natural phenomenon.
