Report from Eldey: The skies were very clear and even before we started sailing we saw and heard of some faint northern lights already visible in the distance. At the very beginning of the tour some arches were visible in the sky, white at first, but then much greener as time passed by and we got away from the light pollution. The arches started to turn into spirals and then all of the sudden everything got very green and the lights started dancing. As the lights moved we even got to see some glimpse of red in it. We observed them for a while, enjoying the brightness, shape and colors. They faded a bit eventually, then we got to see them once more but not as bright for some time before we made it back to the harbour. What a magical night.
