NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 2100

Report from Hafsulan: WOW! What a fantastic night of northern lights! That was truly spectacular, all of the crew said they were the best lights they have ever seen. Before any of us even boarded Hafsulan tonight we had seen some lights in the sky but nobody could have predicted what was to come. As we left the harbour we could see a bright green arch in the sky. This kept getting brighter and brighter as we got further away from the harbour and the lights of Reykjavik. Then suddenly the sky exploded with lights. We could see so many colours including green and pink. They were covering the night sky above us and dancing. This was so special to see. They were so strong we now couldn't see the stars behind them. After these faded the green was still very visible for about 20 minutes and dancing. Then it became only visible on the camera which was the case for the rest of the tour. We now had a great view of many stars. What a night!
