Due to unfavourable weather conditions, we have decided to CANCEL the Northern Lights Cruise tonight!

According to the forecast, the clouds should have eventually cleared up, but they never went away.. It left us a bit disappointed, but we offered complimentary tickets to our dear passengers to try again on another night.

As we sailed out of the harbour, we were met with an orange sky from the volcano that erupted an hour prior! Sadly there were no northern lights seen, so we gave all our passengers complimentary tickets for a second try!

This evening we sailed out in a bit of windy conditions, but under a starry sky. We waited patiently all evening but sadly were not joined by the northern lights, so we offered complimentary tickets to all our passengers!

There were some clouds in the sky but there were some gaps that got bigger and we were able to see stars through them. The lights never really showed up however, so we offered complimentary tickets to our passengers.

We sailed out under a clear starry sky. After about 40 min of sailing a pale arch appeared over Esja, but is stayed faint and therefore we ended up giving out complimentary tickets, so our passengers can come again!

About half an hour into the tour, we spotted the first bit of auroras of the night, but it faded away shortly. So we waited for a bit and then, BAM, we had amazing northern lights! They started as one green arch, then turning into two!

We managed to see northern lights just when we were on our way back to the harbour, but because the sighting was very short, we decided to offer all our passengers complimentary tickets so they can come again!

Already on the way out, we spotted some northern lights behind the clouds. Through the gaps the lights got brighter and brighter and were directly above us. The whole sky was now green and it was dancing in pink as well!

Conditions in Iceland change very quickly, so we were hopeful as we sailed out under the clouds! The sky cleared up towards the end of the tour, but we ran out of time and gave complimentary tickets to all passengers!

About 1 hour into the tour, we saw northern lights forming! They were shy at first but then they started to pop up like mushrooms. At one point, there was even rain in the mix, but the aurora stood up to the challenge!

We sailed out even though there were a few clouds in the sky; It is always possible to see Auroras between the clouds gaps. We tried our very best, but no success, so we gave out complimentary tickets to our passengers!

From the start, we saw something forming at the top of the mountain Akrafjall across the bay. It started dim, but as our eyes got used to the darkness, it got brighter! It was northern lights and they lasted the whole tour!

As we sailed out tonight we could already see a faint arch of northern lights! This arch stayed with us all night, varying in strength. At some point there were even 3 arches above each other and some were dancing!
