• NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

We sailed out even though there were a few clouds in the sky; It is always possible to see Auroras between the clouds gaps. We tried our very best, but no success, so we gave out complimentary tickets to our passengers!

From the start, we saw something forming at the top of the mountain Akrafjall across the bay. It started dim, but as our eyes got used to the darkness, it got brighter! It was northern lights and they lasted the whole tour!

As we sailed out tonight we could already see a faint arch of northern lights! This arch stayed with us all night, varying in strength. At some point there were even 3 arches above each other and some were dancing!

The forecast was nice and we kept an eagle eye on the sky. We watched the moon but sadly didn't see any aurora tonight. Therefore we handed out complimentary tickets so everyone could try their luck another time!

The forecast said partly cloudy but instead we got clear skies, with lots of stars and an arch of northern lights that was visible from the start! At times there were two arches and we got to enjoy them until the end of the night!

We could see stars, Jupiter and the big dipper - we even heard a humpback whale (a big surprise considering we had not seen any during the day)! But like magic, the northern lights appeared and formed a beautiful arch!

We were lucky from the start, as the northern lights were waiting for us! Two beautiful green arches at the sky, visible with the naked eye. We listened to good music, with hot drinks in hand, and enjoyed the starry night!

We sailed out feeling the cold breeze on our faces, until we found a spot in between the islands where the wind was calmer. Unfortunately, we didn't see any auroras, so we decided to give out complimentary tickets!

It was forecasted to be quite clear, and so it continued during the whole evening. Although the night seemed promising, we had no luck and offered all passengers complimentary tickets for a second try at the lights!

In the beginning of the tour there was not much to be seen, then very faint northern lights appeared and then came out in all its might! There was always one arch, sometimes even two! A beautiful night to remember!

We sailed out spotting some stars in between the gaps of cloud, so we kept out hopes high. Unfortunately, the activity was not in our favour, so we offered complimentary tickets to our passengers for a second try!

Even if we had some northern lights above the clouds, we unfortunately couldn't see anything. So we decided to give out complimentary tickets so our passengers could come again and try to see the them another night!

We were very positive about the night, but as Northern lights are a natural phenomenon, they are also very unpredictable. We gave out complimentary tickets so our passengers could come again another time!

About halfway into the tour, our cameras started to capture two arches on top of mt. Esja and it didn't take much time for the northern lights to glow much stronger with colours from green to reds and even purples!
