Due to unfavorable weather conditions, we have decided to cancel the Northern Lights Cruise tonight!

With tonight's forecast, we were optimistic and left the harbour already seeing the northern lights above us. There was a large green arch that stretched over from mt. Esja that grew, and we saw not only green auroras but also purple and even red!

The northern lights were out in full force as we left the harbour. Amazing dancing arches and loops all over the sky. It was just amazing. For a short time the intensity decreased but then they came back and allowed for more awesome pictures.

We were lucky to have a clear and dark sky as we went out. The northern lights were visible right as we left the harbour, so we got good opportunities for great pictures. For around an hour we enjoyed the spectacle until it started to fade away.

With clear skies and bright stars, we headed out with high hopes. The Kp index was 2/9, meaning the aurora oval should happen over Iceland.. and sure enough, we started seeing faint northern lights above the bay that just got brighter and brighter!

We had only just left the harbour when we saw a faint northern lights display. A long arch stretched across the sky, multiplying and even turning red. The skies were very clear, so we could see plenty of stars and soon the auroras picked up in intensity!

We sailed under a clear sky with little to no clouds and a lot of stars. Even though we had no luck with the auroras, we had a beautiful evening. In the end, we of course offered complimentary tickets so our guest could try again another night.

The stars were bright and with no clouds in sight, we sailed out past the islands and waited patiently. Unfortunately however, the auroras never showed up for us, so we offered everyone onboard complimentary tickets to try again for free!

The forecast was promising, and while it was cloudy, there were gaps in the sky. We could see the some northern lights, through the clouds, but they were faint, so we decided to issue complimentary tickets in hopes to see everyone another night!

We had wonderful conditions for auroras this evening - high activity and perfectly clear skies. We sailed past the islands and away from the city lights. Sadly, the auroras never showed themselves, so we issued complimentary tickets to all our guests.

The sky was clear and the northern lights were out as we left the harbour. We enjoyed amazing sights of green and purple curtains and loops over the mountains. Everyone got wonderful pictures and stories to tell and at least one cup of hot chocolate!

This evening, we bundled up, grabbed a hot chocolate and headed out. Right away the northern lights started to appear! They even started dancing, shimmering as they moved back and forth in the sky above. What a perfect way to start 2026!

We sailed out with gaps in the clouds and stars and Jupiter visible. We made our way around Viðey to get into more favourable waters, but unfortunately the auroras never showed up. So we of course issued complimentary tickets to all passengers.

We sailed out in good spirits with a promising forecast. We could see Jupiter shining and got to enjoy the illuminated Imagine Peace Tower. Unfortunately no auroras appeared, so we issued complimentary tickets, but not before encountering a humpback whale!

We sailed out with a favourable aurora forecast and many gaps in the sky - we could even see Orion's belt and Jupiter! Unfortunately however, the northern lights didn't come out tonight, so we gave our guests complimentary tickets, for another try.
