Soon after leaving the harbour, we had a wonderful arch of northern lights over our heads and towards Jupiter. The auroras were dancing and displayed colours from green to purple and even pink! A rare and wonderful sight!
The tour had just started when we spotted northern lights above mount Esja. They took form of an arch during the first half of the tour, then faded for a few minutes, only to come back very strong, all over the sky, until the end!
It was a lovely evening! As soon as we started sailing we saw northern lights, but sadly they lasted only a few minutes.. We decided to give out complimentary tickets for our guests to join another tour and try again!
We waited and waited, but unfortunately, even though the forecast was promising, the northern lights did no come out to play. So we offered all passengers complimentary tickets for another chance of seeing the auroras!
We sailed out with northern lights already visible as we left the harbour. The lights were shining bright directly above us and the mix of purple and green was breathtaking. What an incredible night in beautiful Reykjavík!
Before the tour even started, our passengers were already admiring the northern lights! We sailed past the Imagine Peace Tower and suddenly the auroras appeared really bright in green and red and started dancing!

According to the forecast, the clouds should have eventually cleared up, but they never went away.. It left us a bit disappointed, but we offered complimentary tickets to our dear passengers to try again on another night.
As we sailed out of the harbour, we were met with an orange sky from the volcano that erupted an hour prior! Sadly there were no northern lights seen, so we gave all our passengers complimentary tickets for a second try!
This evening we sailed out in a bit of windy conditions, but under a starry sky. We waited patiently all evening but sadly were not joined by the northern lights, so we offered complimentary tickets to all our passengers!
There were some clouds in the sky but there were some gaps that got bigger and we were able to see stars through them. The lights never really showed up however, so we offered complimentary tickets to our passengers.
We sailed out under a clear starry sky. After about 40 min of sailing a pale arch appeared over Esja, but is stayed faint and therefore we ended up giving out complimentary tickets, so our passengers can come again!
About half an hour into the tour, we spotted the first bit of auroras of the night, but it faded away shortly. So we waited for a bit and then, BAM, we had amazing northern lights! They started as one green arch, then turning into two!
We managed to see northern lights just when we were on our way back to the harbour, but because the sighting was very short, we decided to offer all our passengers complimentary tickets so they can come again!
