What a fantastic day! We left on our morning tour and spotted a humpback whale after about an hour of sailing. We had a great show with several fluke dives. In the afternoon, we headed out again and soon spotted 2 humpback whales! They were very active and one humpback was tail lobbing and the other was pectoral fin slapping! Brilliant!

A cold and a little windy, but we set sail on our morning tour and started the search for wildlife! We spotted a grey seal but unfortunately no cetaceans so we gave our passengers complimentary tickets. In the afternoon, we had a wintry mix of snow and rain, and headed out again. We had a brief sighting of harbour porpoises and continued to explore, but unfortunately couldn't find anything else and we handed out complimentary tickets again.
On our morning tour, we headed out with some snow and a beautiful winter‘s morning. After some sailing, we spotted a humpback whale - it was Banana, one of our regulars! In the afternoon, we had every weather in a few hours with intermittent snow and blue skies. We searched further out and then near the islands, but unfortunately we didn‘t find anything so gave out complimentary tickets.

After a quick snow storm, we sailed out of the harbour with plenty of gaps in the cloud and some stars shining through. Soon enough, we spotted a faint green cloud and it was the northern lights! Throughout the cruise, the arch moved over the sky coming in and out of view. A fantastic evening in Faxaflói Bay.

We headed out on our cruise on a windy night with some gaps between the clouds. Throughout the tour, we saw these green curtains of light between the clouds - a beautiful evening at sea.

In the morning, we sailed out with a bit of snow but the sun came out soon after. We sailed around the bay looking for wildlife, but unfortunately didn't find anything and we gave out complimentary tickets. We also spotted 4-5 grey seals who were very inquisitive. A great way to end the day.

The sky was mostly clear as we headed out, first for a nice cruise around the islands to see if we can spot any aurora. The stars were shining, and with our cameras, we could spot a faint glow, but nothing with the naked eye. So we offered complimentary tickets to our guests for the chance to try again.
We left the harbour with a wintry mix on our morning tour, but the skies soon cleared and before long we found a humpback whale. We had very calm seas and we could even hear their breath.
