Unfortunately the Viðey ferry has been suspended indefinitely and no trips will run to the island until further notice. Apologies for any inconvenience. Please email our team at elding@elding.is for more information and updates.
Viðey ferry update 1.5.2022
Plans are in motion to start running the ferry again after a few months' hiatus. We'll be back up and running by 15th May. Ticket sales have already started.

Only a few minutes away from the busy city life is Viðey island, a special place that combines history, art and nature in a unique way. Daily ferry departures from 15 May - 31 Aug and on weekends from 1 Sept - 14 May.
