Tour at 13:00

We sailed again from Grindavík, and the wind had picked up a little more, but still the sea was pretty calm. We spotted a group of Orca at the beginning of the trip, and after we left them we sailed and sailed but didn't find any more whales, unfortunately. We made a stop at the Krýsuvík-cliffs where we could see thousands of birds and a great view with lots of sunshine, so it was also an enjoyable trip :)

Tour at 9:00

We sailed from Grindavík harbour as the wind in Faxaflói bay was too strong for us to sail in our usual area. We are used to seeing Minke whales, Humpback whales, dolphins and porpoises in Faxaflói, but today we had a nice surprise! As we sailed out of Grindavík harbour we didn't have to wait long before we spotted a group of Orca! This was the first of many groups of these magnificent animals which we spotted, and we were very happy!!
