Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: In the afternoon, we went out from Hafnarfjördur once more and we were very optimistic to find the Minke Whale from earlier again. However, even though we tried very hard, scanned the area very thoroughly and stayed out longer at sea to find something, the sea seemed pretty empty with only a few biirds around. When we ended our tour in Reykjavik, all we got to see was a glimpse of a Harbour Porpoise that vanished as quick as it has appeared. Eventually, we gave out complementarty tickets and hope that all of our passengers get the chance to come with us again within the next two years. I hope you enjoyed the tour anyways and say vthank you for being very optimistic and superfriendly passengers!

Tour at 09:00

Report from Hafsúlan: This morning, a fresh wind was blowing, but at the same time the sun was shining when we started our tour from Hafnarfjördur, a harbour just 15 minutes from Reykjavik. Only after 40 minutes of sailing, we spotted a group of diving Northern Gannets in front of our boat. As we got closer we were very happy to see a Minke Whale surfacing close by, but it went for a deep dive soon after and even though we waited patiently, we only saw it one more time before we lost it's trace. So, we decided to go on and hopefully find another whale in the bay. This time it took us some patience, but in the end of the tour we were rewarded with a couple of Harbour Porpoises and an amazingt Minke Whale that surfaced many times right next to our boat - hurray, what a nice happy end of the tour!:-)
