Tour 17:00

The weather was still very good, light conditions perfect, just a bit less whales around, mainly we had a couple of Minke whales closer to the boat and two more moving around a bit further away.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Elding: Another beautiful trip with a lovely calm sea and a bit of sunshine. We started by looking at the puffins in Akurey, its almost the end of the puffin season now! We then headed out and were able to spot quite a few Minke whales and followed 2 of them quite closely. A really lovely and relaxing trip :)

Tour 9:00

Report from Elding: It was very good day to spent out in Faxaflói bay. The sea was extremely flat and there was almost no wind. We sailed first to Akurey, the Puffin Island and then to the whales. We had plenty of Minke whales everywhere. They must have been more than 10-15 all around. Three we also spotted white-beaked dolphins, a large pod of at least 15.

Report from Hafsúlan:  Another excellent tour out in Faxaflói bay. We had still a lot of Minke whales and this time they were actively feeding, rolling on the side, jumping in a lateral lunge, really close sometimes!
