Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan and Elding: Once again another wonderful tour with lots to see. Fewer birds though but the Humpback Whales, 4 in total were a lot more picturesque as they brought up their beautiful tails on many occasions. We were watching a pair of Humpback Whales for the greatest duration of the tour and on two occasions they did a double fluke (raising their flukes together. Our boat Elding spend a little time with a small pod of White-beaked Dolphins and both of us saw a Minke Whale surface a couple of times before heading back home. A wonderful afternoon with lots of wildlife and beautiful weather.

Tour at 09:00

Report from Hafsulan: This morning was slow to start of with but incredible by the end. We saw thousands of birds circling the ocean and diving down in to the sea. It was very misty out in the bay but this cleared up later, created a beautiful rainbow and blue skies. A passenger was the first to spot a blow from a Humpback Whale after about an hours sailing offshore. He/She looked to be feeding at first and seemed to be quite annoyed by our presence. Would never let us get close, so we left it in peace and searched further a field. We then found some White-beaked Dolphins, a pod of maybe 5-7 individuals which we stayed with for a while as they swam with us. The real entertainment didn´t start till later though on the way back when we spotted 3 Humpback Whales close to each other. They came super close and then suddenly more dolphins came over 20-30 all in all.
