Tour at 13:00

The weather was still very calm and soon we spotted the first harbour porpoises. Again they were easy to follow and fun to watch.  We spotted two minke whales as well on this tour and the first one surfaced a few times so we could enjoy it quite well. The second one disappeared quickly. Like in the morning we found white-beaked dolphins and they bowrode a bit!

Tour at 9:00

What a beautiful day today!!! We had only a little bit of wind this morning. We searched for a bit and soon spotted some nice harbour porpoises. They seem to be around in large numbers at the moment and are therefore rather easy to watch. Some time later we suddenly spotted a minke whale but it only came once up to breathe. So we sailed a little bit further to check the area better and there we spotted another minke whale. Almost at the same moment the wind died down completely and we had the best possible whale watching conditions. Our fishfinder told us that we had some fish around and the minke whale was feeding on it. This made it easy for us to watch it because it stayed feeding for a long time in the same area. On the way back to the harbour we spotted a widely-dispersed group of white-beaked dolphins from far away and spent some time with them once we got closer to them.
