Tour at 13.00

Wow what a tour! We sailed out in perfect whale watching weather, the visibility was just perfect. Soon we spotted 2 harbour porpoises, but they only surfaced twice before disappearing. Very soon after that we spotted a black back in the distance and it was a minke whale! And a great one, we stayed with it for a while and it surfaced calmly many times around the boat and few times only 3-5 meters away for us to really enjoy it. Another boat came so we decided to head on and try to find maybe some other specie. Soon after that we saw a tall fin coming up to the surface, and we could not believe it!! It was a KILLER WHALE FAMILY! Wow we had around 5-7 killer whales surfacing together and one male with his amazing 2 meters fin. They surfaced many times for us, both further away and few times only 5 meters away from us! We stayed with them for some time until the time was up. On the way home we spotted a nice group of white beaked dolphins! We could not leave them so we stayed with them for a while until we really had to head back. Suddenly the killer whale family surfaced again very close to the boat, so we just had to stay with them for a while until we really had to go back to the harbour. GREAT day and a GREAT tour!!
