Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: Weather in October is not best for us, we have storm after storm. Today using a opportunity before next big wind will hit Iceland we sailed from sheltered harbour in Keflavik. Often this location where we can sail close to cliffs is providing us with amazing sightings of whales. This proximity to the land was also protecting us from high waves which were rolling through the bay and despite bad forecast we had a pleasant cruise. We were sailing first in the direction of the open ocean but when waves started to grow in front we decided to turn around and we continued our search in direction of Faxafloi bay. Unfortunately no cetaceans were present that day so we offered complimentary tickets to our guests.
