Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsulan: We sailed out from Keflavik today, driving our passengers at no extra charge on buses from our main office in the old harbour, to gain shelter from the Reykjanes peninsula as the wind is forecasted to pick up. We first sailed out towards Garður and then offshore heading back towards land and ending back in Keflavik. We enjoyed the landscape, covered with a fresh layer of snow, the stunning sunset and watched the many species of seabirds we encountered. Unfortunately, the whales and dolphins were still not to be seen today. Their main food source, the herring, has not been seen in great abundance yet in the bay. Lets hope sightings will pick up soon for both our passengers and crew to keep the New Years spirits high. We offered our passengers complimentary tickets, which not only gives a free return whale watching tour, but also 15% discount in our restaurant MAR and in our gift shop also.
