Tour at 13:00

This tour started off very well with many diving Gannets, 2-3 Minke Whales and Harbour Porpoises, wildlife everywhere it was fantastic then it just seemed to die down very quickly, less birds and deep, long diving Minkes. We went for a bit of a sail around to see if we could find a good area again but we ended up in the same place in which we started and glad we did as we found a Minke that surfaced many times and at one point you could see the Minke travelling just under the waters surface just 10meters or less for us. So amazing to see the white belly and white patch on the pectoral fins. Great Tour!!

Tour at 09:00

The weather was a lot better from the previous days tour and nice blue skies and great visibility. We headed back to the area where we were on the last days and once again proved successful. Lots of diving Gannets and a couple of Minke Whales which were a little difficult to watch as they were diving for long times I guess to feed on the fish closer to the sea bed. We did see a pod of Harbour Porpoises too but they were also in a hurry to get somewhere or catch something. Even though the cetaceans were a bit hard to observe on this tour it was a very nice day to be at sea.
