Report from Eldey: Our beloved mother nature keeps surprising us over and over again! In the morning bay was full of life so we went back to explore but this time even birds were nowhere to be found. After two false alarms we become a little bit upset but finally we got a right call when other boat shared with us info about minke whale. It was fast traveling individual and following this animal was a tricky task for our captain. Thanks to his experience we managed to have it few time close by and have a good look at this agile whale. It´s late for this whales to be here and that made this encounter even more special. We couldn´t follow it long time and soon we needed to head back. When it started to rain most of our guest went inside but few with me stayed outside and thanks God that we did! First we saw a blow and soon big dark body and a tail. Humpback whale! Whale was showing us tail and then going for short dives to came back with loud blow. It was a pleasure to watch. The greatest moment was when at once hundred of our guest scream because this time whale appeared right next to us and we had his tail in front of our faces. It was for sure different individual than we saw last days and now we need to check our database to know something more. We will update this entry when we will find out more about this humpback.

Report from Eldey: It was a very calm start into the day for everyone on board. We began sailing straight out into Faxa Bay and could watch our surrounding getting brighter and brighter as the sun startet to rise. By the time we had been sailing for 1 1/2 hours, the mountains surrounding us were bathing in sunlight. We spotted an area that had a very large amount of bird flocks so we slowed down and took our time to look closely all around us. Which paid off with 2 minke whales as well as a pod of 5-6 white-beaked dolphins feeding. Absolutely beautiful to watch all these species of birds and two species of cetaceans sharing the same area and food. It was a very enjoyable tour and I couldn't think of a better way to start my day.
