Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: Today we knew that the sea out side Reykjavík harbour would be quite rough. That is why we went all the way to Keflavík harbour to find better seas. After the drive to Keflavík we sailded out and the weather was much better, even though it was rather fogy. We hadn't sailed out from Keflavík for a while so naturally we were very excited. We were headed to the west and as we sailed, the fog grew thicker. It also rained for some time but fortunately most passengers were wearing our overalls. After some time we turned back around and carried east, along the Reykjanes peninsula, towards Reykjavík. At least one passenger saw a Harbour porpoise but when we stopped the boat no animals were in sight. After a short search we continued our journey. As we got closer to Reykjavík the sun went further down and we finished our sailing in the dark. Since we didn't get a good look at any animals today all passenger got a complimentary ticket valid for another whale watching tour sometime in the next two years.
