Tour at 13:00
This tour was speacial, indeed!!! We spent more than two hours searching for whales, but the ocean seemed to be empty. The dolphins were gone and even the birds were gone. Very dissapointing for every body, but I tried to explain that this is nature and that it can happen from time to time, that the whales keep "hiding" for different reason. We were already very close to the harobur and I already stopped searching. While I was talking and explaining, the captain stopped to boat very suddenly and shouted my name and just: humpback!!! What a surprise while he sailed around the boj which shows the entrance to the harbour "our" humpback whale suddenly appeared beside the boat to breath. Everybody acted like in panic to get out there to see the beloved animal we spent so much time searching for. And then we got a very nice show. It surfaced a lot very close to the boat and never dove a long time, as if it would show some sympathy with us who had already spent 2,5 hours waiting!
Tour at 9:00
Finally we had nice and calm weather again. The humpback from yesterday was not in the bay but soon we found a lot of white-beaked dolphins. Like yesterday they were every where. First we spotted one and thought it would be a single one, but suddenly another one appeared. Then we guessed that there would be about ten dolphins there, but in the end we spotted so many that we couldn't count them at all! Some of them aproached the boat and bowride. A view were jumping a lot in a distance and all of them were feeding on herring. To the end of the tour we searched a bit more for other whales but couldn't find any more. But the dolphins have been nice and everybody enjoyed them a lot even it was raining.
