Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Eldey: It was freezing cold today but the light was amazing and we had great weather. The wind was not strong and the sun was giving great colours to the mountains, painting them in pink at the end of the tour. We quickly found the humpback whale that stayed for the last weeks in the area close to the islands next to Reykjavik. We had a couple of beautiful fluke dives and close view on this amazing cetacean. We left going a bit further to let some space to the whale when more boats arrived. Then towards the end of the tour we had one last sighting with the previous humpback whale and it came right next to us, letting us take nice pictures and videos of its back! After this great encounter we went back to the harbour.
