Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: It was a pleasure to be out on the water today. This beautiful and what´s more important calm weather is not very common during winter months. Sun was shining and few clouds on the sky were only making views better. As the conditions and visibility were excellent it did´t take us long to find small pod of dolphins. 4 white-beaked dolphins were traveling somewhere but they slowed down as we get closer to them, and started slowly surfacing around our boat. They were moving so slowly that it was easy to have a great look at them and to take good photos. We spend with them some good time before heading further. Later on we found some flotating sea-weed which fooled us for a moment and two flock of feeding birds. We didn´t found more cetaceans but we still had a great time!

Birds seen during our tour: Black-headed gull, Common guillemot, Eider duck, Glaucous gull, Northern Gannet, Cormorant.

Status: RUNNING

We are sailing our from the Old Harbour on a beautiful but cold day. There is little wind but there could be some movement on the boat out on Faxabay due to the wind the past days. Hope you are able to join us today.
