Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: Weather in Iceland is unpredictable but this fast changes can be also a good ones like the one we had today. There was a storm in the morning with a strong wind but after few hours everything became calm. There were still some waves but not big ones and we managed to find a good path through the bay. Rain was hitting us every five minutes and dark clouds were hanging low covering the landscape but with overalls we are ready for any kind of weather. We enjoyed sailing and watching sea birds gliding above water surface but unfortunately despite our affords we couldn't find any whales or dolphins. Hopefully next time as our passengers were offered complimentary tickets.

Bird species seen today include: northern gannet, black-legged kittiwake, northern fulmar, common guillemot, cormorant, razorbill

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík this afternoon art 1 pm. The sea is still rough from this morning, and we do have sea sickness tablets free of charge at the ticket office. For more information please contact our office by email at elding@elding.is or by phone +354 519 5000
