Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: After the good morning we had with the minkys, we went to the same area to try to spot the animals again. On our way we found a lot of harbour porpoises, just swimming towards us. We could spot around 10-14 and we even got to stay with them for a little while. When we got to the area we had, indeed, the 3 minke whales still around. Problem was that they didn't look to be precisely in the mood of whale watching. We only got a glimpse of each single one of them. Not only that but also we had the wind picking up by the end of the tour. So we finished the tour giving complimentary tickets to our costumers, hopefully we will have a little bit more of luck with the cetaceans next time!

We are sailing out from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik on a beautiful but cold day. There could be some movement on the boat out on Faxabay but if you are sensitive to motion sickness we offer preventative tablets in the ticket office, free of charge! On board there are heated indoor areas but we also have overalls to keep you warm out on deck. Hope you are able to join us on the search of these magnificent animals in their natural environment
