Report from Eldey: Another beautiful afternoon in Faxafloi. We had the same conditions as the previous tour but we could see the the sun every now and then which gave us the opportunity the see some rainbows. Apart from that, Faxafloi is still boiling with life, tons of seabirds and humpback whales. We encountered 4 of them but we could see more blows in the distance. The best part was that we were able to idenify at least 2 of them: Kolbrun (spotted 1st time June 2018) and Stingray (April 2014). They were feeding and surfacing very close to us, like if we weren't there. It was amazing to witness these huge creatures in their natural habitat, an unique experience.

Report from Eldey: Today finally wind was not as strong as previous days and specially when we were sailing out it was really nice out there! We took at puffins around island Engey, happily seeing many "sea parrots" around. First humpback whale which we found was the same individual from yesterday, in the same spot. As we had much better visibility we could see more blows in distance. Second humpback was seen by us previously individual called Stingray, and next to that one we found two more humpbacks! It was like watching documentary as whales were feeding, rolling on surface or coming up with their huge heads while northern gannets were bombing down from the sky! We also saw pod of 3-4 harbour porpoises which were surprisingly easy to watch as they were "porpoising" against small waves catching more attention than humpback whale nearby.
