Tour at 13:00

Same beautiful conditions as the morning tour but with a lot less wind. We searched for a long time until about an hour into the tour the crew spotted some jumping White-beaked Dolphins in the distance with binoculars. We headed over to them and they were great. They came right next to boat and we could see their beautiful patterns on their bodies as they glided through the water. Absolutely incredible. No Minke Whales unfortunately today but lets cross our fingers for tomorrow.

Tour at 9:00

What a beautiful day, sun was shining, fantastic visibility to the point of seeing the whole of Snaefellsness peninsula with all its snow. The sea conditions were a little bit rough but it calmed down a lot by the end of the tour. We were really surprised that we didn't see any cetaceans (whales, dolphins and Porpoises) on this tour especially as the last couple of days has been really good. It just goes to show you how unpredictable wildlife is. Complimentary tickets given.
