Report from Eldey: We were a little bit worry this morning if waves will affect our passengers, thus we were recommending sea sick pills. But weather turned out to be fantastic, becoming better towards the end of the trip. At first, cold wind was freezing our noses but soon it was over as sun came up warming us up with golden rays. We went directly to check small fiord in the base of mountain Esja where we had good sightings last days. After short search we saw blow and for next hour we were in company of humpback whale. We were following this animal as it was swimming around, most likely feeding in the depth. Dives were short so we could really enjoy watching this humpbacks. As we are always trying to keep distance and do not disturb is our first rule, we were rewarded with whale coming towards us and passing by just few meters away. All of that was great and a real cherry on the top was seeing whale's tail, fluke, high above water with beautiful background of snowy mountains.
