Report from Hafsúlan: Again we sailed out from Sandgerði. The weather was slightly less windy and we were ready for our second try of the day, which really payed off since we sailed for roughly an hour before we saw a blow. We sailed towards the blow and soon saw that it came from a Humpback whale! We watched the animal surface around us a few times in between going down for deep dives. Then it happened; the humpback breached out of the water!! After doing that it splashed it's fluke into the surface a few times leaving us all in aw. We saw some more blows in the distance but mostly stayed on this one animal since it was so playful. We ended a lovely day back in Sandgerði.

Report from Hafsúlan: We started this lovely day by sailing out from Sandgerði. We had been having some good luck in that area so we were feeling optimistic. We sailed to the south, towards Eldey. On our way we saw much bird life but the most fun part was when we saw dozens of Northern Gannets plunging into the water all around us. Even though the birdlife was this vast we saw no cetaceans. Our sailing back was a bit more choppy than when we headed out and all our passengers were offered complimentary tickets.
