Report from Eldey: Sea was much nicer this afternoon, swell was going down but it was still like a ride up and down the hills. Weather was also playing with us as once we had a clear sky just to be lost in snow storm minutes later. We had more than 100 enthusiastic pairs of eyes to help us searching for whales and dolphins but it wasn't easy. For two hours we were just watching birds till our first officer reported that he might seen something. We slowed down and looked around carefully but there was nothing in sight. Just like a mother nature was waiting for us to give up - once we started to head back home - pod of approx 10 white-beaked dolphins came out of the blue. They were fast and tricky, most likely in search for food, but once they realized that we are trying to hang with them, for a while they changed their behaviour and approached our boat, bow ride and after this close encounter left to do some dolphin business. We've been missing them last few weeks, it feels great to have them back!

Report from Eldey: There was barely no wind on this winters morning tour but the snow covered the decks from time to time and the rolling swell, left over from previous storms, lifted the boat up and down. There were a couple of green faces but gerenally it was a nice comfortable tour and most enjoyed the adventure on our outside top viewing decks. We saw a lovely selection of seabird species; seagulls, cormorants, guillemots, fulmars and eider ducks but unfortunatly that was all we could see on this mornings tour. It was lovely to see the freshly whitened mountains and landscape of the way home as we offered our passengers complimentary tickets to join us again on another free tour.

Birds seen on todays tours include: greater black-backed gulls, kittiwakes, cormorants, eider ducks, glaucous gulls, northern fulmars,
