Status: RUNNING

We are sailing from Hafnarfjördur today. Complimentary bus transfer to Hafnarfjörður infront of the ticket office at 1pm, the tour might take about 5 hours. The forecast predicts wind from the south about 9-15 m/s and swells

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: From the beginning to the end the landscape, clouds, weather was incredible. From rain as we got on the bus to sunshine, hail, sunshine, snow, sunshine throughout the boat tour and as the sunset got more intense the orange rays shone through the clouds and rainbows in the distance, it was difficult to put down the camera. We sailed from Hafnafjörður today due to the strong winds, we gained shelter from them at first as we traveled along the coastline of the Reykjanes and then further offshore on the way home, coming back surfing the higher swells. The seabirds also looked beautiful in the light, especiallythe gannets, fulmars and iceland gulls. Unfortunately, no cetaceans we encountered, not even a porpoise but everyone seemed to enjoy the tour nonetheles. We offered everyone a complimentary ticket in hope they can join the tour once again in the next two years.
