Tour at 13:00: Report from Hafsúlan. The sea was very calm as we headed out for our second tour of the day. We sailed towards where we had seen the Humpback earlier that day. After about an hour we found a humpback whale, maybe even the same one. It surfaced very close to the boat and swam close to the surface so you could see it underwater. We watched this humpback for quite some time before heading back. As soon as we turned the boat we spotted a pod of White-beaked Dolphins. We sailed towards them and then a Minke whale surfaces right in front of us. We followed it for a while but time was running out so we had to turn back shortly. What an amazing day, seeing three species in just one tour!

Birds seen on this tour include: Eider Ducks, Long-tailed Ducks, Kittiwakes, Blackbacked gulls, Fulmars and Glaucous Gulls.

Tour at 9:00: Report from Hafsúlan. We sailed out from Reykjavík in a beautiful weather, the sky was clear and the ocean was rather still. After an hour or so we found a humpback whale. It was swimming slowly and came very close to the boat. We watched it surface many times, seeing it raise its tail a few times. It was probably fishing since our equipment detected a very big scholl of fish under the boat. It didn't move around much so we were able to watch it for a long time. An amazing tour with sunshine, beautiful scenery and a humpback whale.

Birds seen on todays tour include: Eider Ducks, Kittiwakes, Black-backed gull, Long tailed ducks and Fulmars.
